Statesmen College Preparatory Academy for Boys
You may (or may not) know how strongly I feel about kids + travel, and when this project came across my timeline last year, I knew I had to share it.
Last summer their founding class (62 Black boys from SE DC) traveled through Africa and Europe. Funds donated also go towards regional trips, uniforms and instructional materials.

Empower Academic Coaching Book Drive
My former client is partnering with Because One Matters, a local foster care organization, that works with over 300 families in the Tucker/Decatur, GA area, with an aim of donating 200 books.
Purchase via Bookshop (link below) to also support their fave local bookstore - Brave and Kind Books - which specializes in diverse and inclusive books for kids. Any book purchased from the book wishlist will be directly sent to Because One Matters.
